Formed by Laís Tomaz (vocals), Luccas Vasconcellos (guitar), Ander Fernandes (bass) and Sergio Barsant (drums), Valiria bets on a mix between experience and youth, bringing a modern sound, influenced by different styles of rock and turning it into an original sound.

Launched between September 2014 and March 2015, the first two singles, “Uneven Hero” and “Red Hands”, portray the daily life and bring to the surface human conflicts and abusive relationships. Following the DIY concept, the band produced the second single and its lyric video entirely, to help sharing the song.

In 2015 the band was invited to feature in the tribute album to the singer Edu Falaschi (ex-Angra), “A New Lease of Life”, recording a new version of the song “Introspection” from his first band, Symbols.

Their first EP, Blind Faith, was released in early 2016, again produced entirely by the band itself, containing 5 previously unreleased tracks and an acoustic version of “Uneven Hero”. The work was digitally released on all streaming platforms, and was well received and ranked by the specialized press, resulting in the mention of Laís Tomaz in the special edition “Women in Rock/Metal” of Roadie Crew magazine.

Still reaping the fruits of the great receptivity of their EP, the band was one of the most voted in the contest promoted by EDPS Live Bands Brasil’s website to play in the Portuguese festival “NOS Alive” (2016). The band was also the most voted in the contest “Bring me to the stage” (2017), promoted by the radio sation 89 FM of São Paulo, to be the opening act of Evanescence’s show.

The second half of 2017 began with the band entering the studio to record two new songs, released as singles, this time with producers Wagner Meirinho and Tiago Assolini (Torture Squad, Holiness and Trayce) from Loud Factory. The tracks “Abstracted” and “Easy Answers” exceed expectations and brings the band into a new phase of compositions and creativity.
